UX & Digital Designer
June 2014 - Present
Over my 3 years at Elevated Third I've led the UX, IA and visual design for a wide variety of clients including Comcast, Sprint, Chicago Botanic Garden, Denver Botanic Gardens, Colorado General Assembly, National Jewish Health, Murphy Arts District and the State of Colorado. Working on small non-profit to large organization websites allows me to grow my expertise for each industry, based on a solid process of researching and benchmarking competitors and collaborating with our UX & Content Strategist to develop user personas to verify stories and creating the information architecture for sitemaps.
On a typical day at Elevated Third you can find me sketching a new checkout process, creating comprehensive wireframes in UXPin or Sketch, working with our in-house developers to create a build spec based on web components, designing a conversion focused homepage, or doing QA on a site for functionality and accessibility.
I recently art directed the photography and videography for the new Elevated Third website launched in the spring of 2017, focusing and harnessing on the energy, expertise and results driven work that me and my colleagues produce.
May 2011 - June 2014
During my 3 years at Walgreens Corporate Creative headquarters in downtown Chicago I worked on a all aspects of the e-commerce journey from conceptualizing and art directing the design of the in-store Photo Holiday catalog that was distributed nationally to over 8,500 stores, to designing promotional emails, product web pages, catalogs, e-commerce ads and social media campaigns.
While working with the UX team, I developed comprehensive flows and wires that help lead the redesign for new customer transaction emails based off our findings from user testing and site analytics.
As well as designing custom graphics and typography for the WellWishes exclusive in-house line of invites, cards, and photo books, I art directed contract designers and published graphics for hundreds of app, kiosk and web templates, particularly resulting in a best selling design for 12+ months with 50,000+ units sold.
